13" tom is stamped MAY 6 1966. As you can see, the wrap is as present and vibrant on these drums as it was from the Chicago factory in 1966.
The hoops are original with original inlay, but have been professionally repainted. Sanded, 2 coats of flat black, and 2 coats of clear coat.
Issues: The previous owner caught the bass drum badge on something and almost completely pulled out the badge and grommet. We took the badge out, filled the hole with a wood dowel and wood filler, re-drilled the hole, and remounted the badge with a new grommet. The reso side of the FT has a small area of separation between the re-ring and the 1st ply which we did not touch and is pictured in detail. The FT seam has minor separation. The FT badge has corrosion, as pictured. Some of the lugs on all 3 drums have "winking" of the wrap above the lugs, and 2 of those have minor cracks on the bass drum. The chrome has minor pitting, and the painted interiors have a few paint chips, as usual.
DOES NOT INCLUDE THE VINTAGE K ISTANBUL OR THE JAZZ FEST IN THE PICTURES.
The Burgundy Sparkle Jazz Festival snare is also for sale here!
This is a real beauty of a kit and sounds fantastic.
